The student will never learn if not given the chance. But there is a better place to learn than in a crowded place like that. The student should be given the harder opportunities as they develop and improve. But if the training excersize is being disruptive to the normal work flow, then its time to end the training and turn it into demostration time. The trainer should have pulled the plug sooner and gotten out of the way.
