Sure. What kind of moron buys a $80, 90, 100K vehicle and $5k in equipment without having a license? (Planning).
And my pedigree is well established.

    RJM1953 Thanks this.

A phone ringing "all day" vs 4-8 times are two different things.
    Thank you for clarifying.

I had a plan executed it to perfection! I had to do it in that order because I was out of state and could do everything but take my CDL test. But the driving is secondary I was starting a business. My goal isn’t to be an owner operator. My goal is to run a carrier and this is just another step. 51 days from applying for my Authority to running my first load. Only a moron could come up with a poor plan like that.
Is there a place I can look up your well established pedigree?

I think he meant that you're not established as a carrier but I can see that you can be an established entity from your previous job, which can be utilized in your current endeavor.
I am at it long enough to have witnessed success stories of people who I'd never suspect to accomplish much that I should not believe you. I can believe you and there's nothing surprising about it.
The problem of your post has a different nature: you sounded bragging and condescending like. Your shave, clean clothes, clean truck, and cologne on the face insults intelligence of other members here because these are common sense things that everybody knows. People who are members on this forum are not stupid assholes to be schooled on such basics. You are nobody special to beat what spot market pays, you access to better freight through channels unavailable to others and that's good for you. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Just don't tell us that brokers are picking you out of 1000 trucks in the area because you are so special.

I guess I don’t know but that’s what makes life awesome. When I was a kid I can remember wanting to be an ag pilot, policeman and truck driver. I grew up on a farm/airport and at 12 years old was experienced at backing trailers, driving our 6 wheel dump and running every imaginable kind of tractor including a D6. Well, as experienced as a 12 year old can be LOL. When I graduated in the early 80s both the ag and aviation industries were tanked. I joined the Army as an MP and worked as a city cop for 4 years afterward. Wasn’t for me. Last person I stopped for speeding was a dad taking his 5 year old son fishing. He explained he only sees him every other weekend and they were laughing and talking and he just missed the speed sign. That’s when it me that everyone was like me. Just trying to get through this world. I gave him back his license and quit. I was 25. Cropdusting is my passion but it takes it toll and I’ve cut back from year around to 3 months. So I figured I owe it myself to try the one last thing from my childhood. We are empty nesters and we travel together. I have the best strap winder in the industry.
