I'd rather another dm/dispatcher/whatever but it looks like a daunting that involves retaliation and screwing with a drivers life out on the road. I understand at the end of the day 90% of them are glorified call center jockies so its easy to just end up having many of the same experiences just different dna.

Anyway the question is there a way to get a dispatcher to just be like I want this guy off my board and put me up like the nba draft for somebody else? :D

Step 1. Get a better attitude. Dispatchers are like any other human. Treat them like crap and they will do the bare minimum for you. Treat them well and they will bend over backwards for you.

    Yes, what he said.

It has a lot to do with the size of your company and how many dispatchers they have. If you work for a mega carrier you can probably get another one. There are complete a-holes who are dispatchers and some fantastic ones. Kissing a little butt goes a long way sometimes when you want better loads.

I’ve got you set going to Hunts Point 3 times next week.
Then King of Prussia and afternoon that a Kearny NJ to Hunts Point.

Keep on and the next week will be Boston.

We’ll change companies too, you’ll still set for that route.
    King of Prussia first.
    Thanks.

    Badmon and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

LOL, I just got out of PA last week, not far from there. Nice run too. 2300 miles into the sunshine and blue skies.

I am not sure if I told this story or not. Many years ago I was assigned to a greenhorn FM. I was even told by the terminal manager to stay calm and work with her. I bent over backward, but she was such a scatter brain I had enough. I asked to be routed back in. It was about two weeks later, but I walked in told the terminal manager I had a rental car coming in and was cleaning out my tractor. he looked at me and said, "let me guess, (redacted) right?" I said yep, and because I don't like to use quitting in that way my decision to quit was final. To make a long story short I did quit, but only after being offered a new tractor and 3 CPM raise. I still walked out. Last I heard that (redacted) was working for the maintenance dept answering roadside assistance calls. I will bend over backward attempting to work with a FM, but when I get my fill I'm full.
