US 50 in Cali is off limits to truck up around a certain point.

80 to 15 to US6 over Sargents pass to 70.

Or you can go 80 to Fernley and jump on 50 there. 50 through Nevada is something everyone should do once, so they know to never do it again.

 

I would just run I 80 to Laramie then US 287 to Fort Collins and I 25 down to Fountain

 

Would be much quicker using I- 80 unless your trying to avoid the scales?

I think i went that way once, wasnt there a shoe tree on that route.. I read somewhere it got cut down by vandals.
