I have applied twice with USA truck. Have been with same employer 15 years, clean driving record and background. Cannot get a call back. Anyone else have a problem with them?

You a driver? When I applied online I got a time scheduled to call them and within a few days was setup for school and just got done with orientation. Meeting up with trainer in a couple days. Our group had several Experienced OTR drivers making good CPM.

No problem but I have an answer. They won't respond because they know an experienced driver won't stay long. Nobody with an IQ above 20 would stay long. I stayed 6 or 7 months and it was a living hell. They assume that all of their drivers are fresh out of driving school and treat them accordingly. All of the dispatchers, "field managers", that I dealt with were complete idiots. It was like living in an episode of the beverly hillbillies or the three stooges. If you choose to work for these ripoffs here is exactly what you will get...

    lies
    low pay
    low miles
cheated on your already low miles
wrong address for p/u or delivery often
wrong p/u or del appt. time more often than not
wrong p/u number more often than not
deal with idiots on a daily basis like bill aden (not sure of spelling on the last name. he was the biggest idiot i have ever dealt with in real life. i still wonder if he can tie his own shoes)
lousy over priced benefit package that covers nothing
3 days a month home time
your 3 days at home starts on the day you get home whether it was 0800 or 2100 at night.
when you quit they will keep your check and escrow and then put a bunch of lies on your DAC

So, with all these luxury benefits why would you work anywhere else?

Are you serious with that statement Jovanna18? I worked for them a year and a half the first time. I got all my escrow back nothing was put on my Dac at all!!!!! During my first tenure with them and my current tenure with them i have had no problem getting 4 days a month home time and my hometime has never started the day i arrived home always started the next day.In 5 days this week i got 2300 miles. Why would a man with 23 years in trucking stoop to USA Trucks level to work for them when obviously with all that 23 years experience you could go anywhere to drive? My guess there is more to your story than meets the eye.You came to USA cause you have had problems somewhere else along those 23 years is my guess and they gave you a chance.I know your type the type that complains all day long instead of just doing what your paid to do which is pick up freight and deliver it.I came back to USA because i enjoyed working for them before and only left to take a local driving job in Dallas.Jmorgn pm me if you want honest answers about the company and not a bitter ex employees version of it

The 23 year man strikes again......another bitter ex that clearly stating all the problems that he created himself.

Im ceretain you received a wrong p/u number or a faulty address from time to time. Yes they pay practical miles. Other than those things all of your claims are just simply rubbish. You should be ashamed to be a truck driver if after 23 years the best you claim you can muster is a job with USA Truck and you can't make it here. What a joke! Look in the mirror pal because the problem is grinning back at you!

I have refuted your claims in other threads and I scream my distain for your wreckless comments. No place is perfect, and USA is no exception, but your clearly the common denominator in the root cause of your lack of being unemployable.
