I went through this with KLLLM - sat around doing nothing, and I stayed out over a month at a time. Longest I stayed out was 7 weeks and I only got 13,700 miles in those 7 weeks in one of their brand new Cascadias. I left there and found a home every night grocery delivery job with guaranteed pay every week if we showed up every day on time. The only way that I'll ever leave this job is if I get canned or laid off.

Greener pastures are out there, just start looking. Especially for you since you live in NYC.

I don't know where in ny he lives but i live in ny and im doing C&S for jb hunt going to ny city, long island, brooklyn nd everywhere in ny i love it with a daycab and a 48 feet trailer. You can get a good local job in ny if you know the area or if you are not scared of the nightmare in driving in ny

3888 miles, what's your truck speed governor? What region do you run? no live load or unload, no waiting at the shipper or con, never get caught in traffic, i just don't believe it and you sound like a recruiter to me.

I run all 48 states and I usually get over 3000 miles every week. Im sure it has a lot to do with where you live. Some people just live in an area witg bad freight and just have a hard time getting rollin

Maybe if you didn't live in Queens, NY it wouldn't be so hard for you to comprehend how someone can easily run over 3000 miles every week. It probably takes you the better part of a week to get from your house to Interstate.

You said you already drive 3888 miles this week, im not saying you can't but not with these mega carriers, low pay, low miles and they keep on hiring drivers everyday, if you get 3888 miles a week that's why the other guy with 25 years experience get only 1800 miles lol.

I have been with this mega carrier for over 5.5 years now and I do get those miles and have since day one. Pickup/del your loads on time and don't have any accidents or safety issues and you will be surprised at what the mega carriers have to offer.
