Nothing will ever change until drivers wake up and realize that what they need is more MONEY, not more miles.

How much cpm you r getting im sure you wouldn't tell us because you are overworked and underpaid with these mega carriers, i had a walmart driver told me if someone stay with these mega carriers for over 1 year they have to be a mental patient or they like to be called by number nd get treated like a slave. Not to offense but with 5 years experience you can do something better than that.

I'm far from overworked and I dont particulary mind being called by number. We live in a consumer society. In a consumer society, you are just a number. Some people learn this in the sandbox and some just never do. Im sorry for you if didnt figure it all out but I did figure out a few things and I have done far better than any of you could ever begin to imagine. Good luck to you.

we all learn something new everyday and i wouldn't mind to learn from a newbie,, i did take some decisions after talking to some experienced drivers and i succeed, i don't have a problem with you or your company i was just telling you what it means when a walmart driver is looking at you with a bad regard and smile, lol just kidding. I don't drive for walmart but 5 members of my family drive for them for about 15 years now and i respect your 5 years experience fellow driver.

He don't want to quit because all this person wants to do is complain and that is what makes him happy. And as for the 22 years experience and at a bottom feeder company he has either lied about experience or has worked at good companies and complained so much it was leave or get fired. So I figure USA is the only company that will hire him for now. Just my two cents. Hope everybody has a great day.

You are right 22 years experience at a bottom feeder company, i think he won't stop complaint about usa nd he will still hang in there, are we missing something from your story or did you quit trucking for a while and come back as a newbie? what is the rest of your story?

If you prefer to be fed the line about how "you're not just a number" and "we know every face" crap then more power to you, but like it or not you are one in a crowd, "just a number". I was merely making a point that some people dont learn the skills they need to function and contribute in this type of society without difficulty and others do. You can avoid the minefield by not starting every sentence you speak with "I'll just assume that..." You will just make an ### of yourself.

I left USA because of being just a number, I now work for a company where they know me by name, sure it is a small company with just 60 trucks but hey a hell of a lot better then usa. Glad you are happy being just a number DJ.

You statement just proves my point. I'm happy that you found some form of artificial happiness and security with your job because you are apparently one of those few I spoke about.
