because if we can only make turns in "turn lanes", we would get no where fast
when you make a right turn onto a small street, do you ever venture into oncoming traffic? do you ever take up the right two lanes of your side to complete your right hand turn? When turning into a driveway on your left, if there is no left turn lane, do you drive as to the nearest legal turn around and come back and make a right hand turn into that same driveway?MUSTANGGT and Thomas0810 Thank this. -

i do believe in the fmcsa manual, if you need to take up the right two lanes to make a left turn that is perfectly legal, as opposed to a button hook
