I am seriously considering USA Truck as where I want to get my CDL-A and to go to work for. However, I don't have a lot of money to pay for a CDL school up front. Can someone please shed some light on what my up front costs would be to get into USA Truck going this route? Thanks.

Driver solutions does or did work with USA, that is who paid for my schooling. You are obligated a one year contract with USA from hire date to, your one full year anvi. Date. $5999.98 was how much the school was, they deduct $50 a week from your pay check I think h only end up paying around $1400-1600.of it and USA pays the rest if you stay your one full year. Now that being said if u breach that contract u are responsible for the full amount. That is with driver solutions, and not to scare u but they will come after u for the money, but they will work with u to resolve, either deduct it from your checking account, or u can pay the full amount. They are also obligated to help you find anotherjob if you and uUSA do not work out. Most likely try and get u on with pam.

Also I forgot, if you go thru driver solutions they put u with either company, don't quote me on it but I don't know if you have a choice which they send you to, I know when j went to cdl school about 75% of my class went to USA and the other went to Pam. Something i ask the driver solution recruiter.

Yep Driver Solution. You pay nothing upfront. When you get upgraded to a first seat driver in your own truck you pay 25 bucks a week for the 1100 or so that you are responsible for then after a year USA truck will consider the contract obligation met.

Its not a bad deal with driver solutions , as long as u can tough it out for the one year, like I said its a little rough at the start gets better. Its all what u make of it.
