Right or wrong, good or bad, USA is doing the full shebang on me and should have a decision by late week.
I like to drive. I like solitude (usually). I am not afraid to work. I have a great history except for a (non-commercial) 25 over 65 ticket. I know what needs to be done to be successful.
Be safe.

You want to bee successful? Do what is asked of you. Drive legal and safe. Take care of the equipment. Be ontime. Keep your appearance neat and oder free. Don't wear your pants around your knees. Expect to get short loads along with longer loads. Just run them, they are important too. Stay safe and enjoy the ride.

Yep. Thanks.
Looking forward to the change. I just hope the ticket does not hold me up. My first choice was Prime and they said they would hire me January 2014 after the ticket has its third birthday. If USA backs off, that is what I'll do. I have a good job. I just don't know how long it will last. Peterbilts and Kenworths aren't selling especially well right now.
Thanks for your support.
Be safe

Prime, did you hear about that real bad wreck they had the other day in Pennsylvania?????
They got rear ended by an Amish family. Killed the horse. -
Amish Mafia to retalliate? LOL
You would think those horse and buggies would be controlled beyond a triangle tacked on the back.
Yeah, Prime. Three reasons: In my research and experience, they appeared to be the most professional and covered many angles of driver appreciation and safety upfront; One of the highest starting cpm for new drivers; The overall quality of equipment with 100% APU's and power converters.
USA pluses: Appears to be trying to make an upswing with conscious efforts to enhance its business and opportunities. This eventually trickles down to the driver. Drop and hook ratio is attractive. A little bit regional in design with my location near its center of operations. Cpm increases tolerably in a year. A moderate number of repair facilities. Outside opinion is equipment is above average (age/appearance).
If accepted, I expect my tenure to be no less than 18 months. I will give it that long to see how USA actually is. I ain't a quitter. I have done similar work before but not on an OTR scale. I have rode around with my son for a week at a time doing regional work and understand much of what is going on.
Be safe
