    Hey ezmed and duke!!! And everyone else!

    I have my cdl already...but am heading to INDY Feb 11 to go to the C1 school as a refresher. Then orientation.

    Maybe one of you can answer this for me. Or anyone else in this forum, for that matter. I live in Dayton, so will i get to do orientation at the Vandalia hub? It would really suck to have to get thrown on a bus to Arkansas, and im 18 miles from a hub now. Anyone know?

    id say ul do orientation there in vandalia i went to unoh in lima so luckily for me i kno the area :)

    I always saw classrooms there in Vandalia. But I never saw any students. I thought they quit doing orientation there. Of course I always went to sleep when I got there.

    The recruiter told me you go home from C1 then bus into your orientation and hook up with your trainer there. Where you bus into is a mystery to me. However, it was suggested i would go to Van Bruen for my orientation

    I've been told to wait till Thursday..... maybe Friday....... (sigh) Then I still need to give my two week notice.

    A bit of trucking news.............. Freightliner is laying off 1200 plus 200 division employees. They are the number one truck producer in North America. My employer, PACCAR (#2), is experiencing rolling layoffs, with Peterbilt being the leader having 15% production decreases but Kenworth has yet followed Pete with any reductions. I currently build brake systems for Pete and KW and worked over 2 hours tonight. Go figure.

    For the time being........ March 3 is my turn. C1 Indy. I may bump it up a week...... tryin' to get my cash flow optimized for the adventure.
