Normally companies will check former employers before offering a job to you.
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
Just out of morbid curiosity how much are they starting new drivers at nowadays?
Back in 2004 it was $0.24 a mile. -
Puppage Thanks this.

I've always wondered that as well. They have all your information, why not just verify it before you leave the house?

That was really good money back in 1978
-
@ $0.30 cents per mile by 550 miles with gold at $208.10 per ounce, it works out to .79 ounce of gold per day in 1978.
That same 550 miles today, with gold at $1,353.10 would need to pay a company driver $1.94 per mile today in 2016 to maintain the same standard of living as back in 1978.
And in order to pay the driver that amount of money the truck would need to charge $8 a mileborn&raisedintheusa and free spirited1 Thank this.
