If you have the following items, you can basically get in any workout.
-Two adjustable stands for weight bar.
-Adjustable and foldable or collapsing weight bench.
-All in one smart dumbbells. Takes up less than a square 8 inches and they are like having every dumbbell from 10-100 pounds.
-Free olympic bar
-curl bar
-free olympic size weights.
-a pully you can hook to the side of a truck and add weights to.
All of this should easily be storable on a top bunk, but I would advise not placing the actual weights up there for obvious reasons.
You stop, you set up the two stands, standup your bench, get the weights and dumbells out, the bars and you're ready to complete literally any basic weight training exercise with real weights. People, those resistant bands are a joke. I am a bodybuilder. Not a jumping jack guy. LOL.
With the two stands, you can do flat bench, include bench, squats and pull ups and hook the pulley to it to get in triceps detentions and lat pulldowns etc. The bench and dumbbells would allow for dozens of exercises as well.
You could easily continue to body build OTR and maybe hit a full gym once or twice a week. Cardio you can get it anywhere.
I've dug and found a few videos of guys out there doing this and you'd be surprised how in shape they are. One guy looked like an NFL linebacker and was ripped and been driving for eight years.

IF you have the two-three extra spare hours to screw around "working out" without interfering with either getting your job done or getting proper rest so you can continue getting your job done, you are either not doing your job or working for the wrong company.
Wanna workout? Go get a job hauling steel on an open deck. Leave the dad-blasted toys at home and get to work!
Or play with your precious weight set and wonder why you have too much month at the end of your money. Right up until you get canned for poor performance.
Choice is yours. But for my money, any driver who swiveled and cried to me about why they can't have their Playstation, XBox, dog, weights or whatever would find himself quickly unemployed! -
Personally I'd hire anyone for any position who stayed physically fit over some 500 pound pizza eating slob. And who's crying brother? YOU ARE. 2. a weight set ADDS weight to your tractor. Weight that then needs to be subtracted from your total payload, meaning you will need LIGHTER (and cheaper) freight to keep your Gross Vehicle Weight within legal standards.
3. You wanna be hard? Come do what I do, slick. Come throw 260 lb. (dry weight) tarps over a load of lumber or slotted steel coils once or twice a day (AFTER throwing 300-400 lbs. of chains at the load, again once or twice a day. Do two or three loads a day, five days a week.
4. and finally, I've been busting tail as a truck driver since I was 22 years old. I'm 43 now. Which means I'm an OLD truck driver. And I GUARANTEE my supposedly unfit old hide will WORK you into the dirt and be right back at it the next day.
You get a job as a DRIVER,you are there to WORK! NOT play! You have a limited amount of time to get everything done so you can get adequate rest. All so you can get up the next day and do it all over again.
So be hard. Go find yourself a flatbed job. Plenty of decent carriers hiring and training rookies out here. And leave the weights at home. Cause the very first time you tell your dispatcher you can't haul an average load due to your tractor being too heavy (cause you HAD to have your precious weight set) will ALSO be the last time you haul for that carrier. -
You logic of having a few hundred pounds of weight on my truck costing my job makes no sense. I weigh in at 220, 6' and I run 10% body fat. IE. I'm fit!! More so then 99% of men on the planet and there is nothing wrong with the idea of wanting to maintain that. But back to your point. Lets say I do what 90% of truckers do and gain 60-80 pounds of fat the first year. Now I weight 280, the following year, 350 or so. Well hey. guess what? There is my weight set I wanted to keep under my bed and drag out for an hour or so each end of day to keep on shape. Gonna fire me for being a "big guy" like most every trucker because of the added weight to the truck?

Werner doesn’t allow you to secure anything to the cat walk. The only thing you can store behind the truck is a broom on the rails behind the dog house. Your experience may vary.
Just out of curiosity, where did you plan to set this equipment up? Even if you had room at a truck stop it would be miserable. Get yourself a membership to a national gym chain and take a cab on your off time. You probably would only have enough time to do this on a 34 hr reset.

It isn’t what others think, there isn’t room and it stinks of piss and broken dreams. Talk to a food service company like McLane. You can get paid for a workout and go home at night.

Have you considered using a ball? You know the big ones used for abs that are inflatable. Bonus is all the stabilizer muscles you incorporate. You could deflate and inflate as needed. I'm considering options but will probably only workout inside the truck regularly and hit gyms whenever possible .

I pick up road kill and put it on the cat walk. I have some nice slippers and a mixed animal coat .
