Utility Quoted me a shocking rate for 2022 Reefer Trailer

New reefer trailers; not new trucks.

 

Well see there is this dude named pedro down by the docks who is willing to give you one hell of a good deal on brand new volvos. His only condition is you never saw him and dont look TOO closely at the file marks on the truck and that you gotta buy your own ECM

 

Actually what he said was:

 

Jim Hawk offered me $30k on my 15
Van composite. Mostly because they know I am meticulous on maintenance and trl still looks new inside and out.
But to replace it would cost north of $60k
And a 8 month wait.

 

Can't remember the name of the company, but it's in Dallas/Ft.Worth and sells brand new dry van trailers for $28K each. An 0/0 on here bought one, but I don't remember his screen name. The trailers are made in Mexico and imported to the USA.

And you'll really poop yourself if you price an LP bottle or a cryo trailer.

 

freuhauf went out in the late 90s, there’s actually a guy local to me that bought 2 of the last dump trailers off the line and parked them without ever putting a load in them, he actually just started pulling one last year or so.
