I'm not going to post the name of the hotel, but we all know which one is used by drivers held up in Vandalia, Oh. Anyway, please be aware that 5 USA tractors were parked there and broken into Sunday night. CBs and GPSs were taken.

Well...Dont ever leave a portable GPS in the rig.
If the CB is laying on the dash (mounted flat) - same thing. Remove them and take them into the hotel.
Many CBs are mounted up in the forward visor near the headliner. Not sure how much worry there is with those,
but rule of thumb - if its easy to remove, do it....cause a thief sure will.
Woopigsooie and ralph Thank this. -
Love these folks that make a post BUT won't make the name of the motel where trucks get broken into public. There's a chance that more than just your fleet uses that dump!
900,000-tons-of-steel, Woopigsooie and slim shady Thank this. -

The only thing stolen were the gps's. they bypassed the tv's, dvd's even one guys PSP that was not hidden in a cabinet. And they were all parked in the circle right in front of front entrance. I would bet it was a student waiting for a trainer. Seems way to fishy to me
