Nov. And Dec. Were a little slower than last spring and summer was but got a new FM bout the 2nd week in Jan. And been running good since then. Lowest check since then was $493 bringhome. This weeks check bringhome is $762. I've always said it just depends on your fleet and FM.

Thought I'd update:
My 2nd trainer made me miss my first trainer BADLY. Hey you can't always get along with everyone. Made it to the last day of my trainig with him before we "had it out". I told the training dept. I'd be willing to start ALL OVER again, but I will NOT get back on the road with THAT GUY. The Feeling was mutual.
So I'm about 8 hours short of the 200 hours required.
Still I took the LONG ride to Arkansas and finished up. Then got a ride to W.Memphis for my 'hooptie' (seriously I love my truck, I don't want a Prostar, just keep me in this pos. I have a thing for dog eared strays)
Truck looks like crap, runs like hell. And most importantly,,, it,,, sorta,, kinda,,, works.
Mostly.
A majority of the time,,,
Except when it doesn't.
Work when I have it is good. When I don't, driver gets cranky.
If I believe 1/2 of what I'm hearing on the road, USA is only a 1/2 bad company.
Do the time, pay your dues (DO NOT get any service work done in OH) and you should be able to leave in a year or two with a clean DAC so you can go to a company that pays better. -
how are you doing for miles
-
I stopped counting miles, they seem to have no bearing on my pay anyway. Some weeks I make .14c other days .26c.
I don't know if it's the per-deim screwing it up, the reimbursement for my expenses (scale tickets, etc.) or what. All I know is after 4 months of working here, my bank balance is going up. (I still haven't made as much as what the CDL school would have cost me out-of-pocket, though)
So partly because I've trimmed expenses (livng in truck) and partly because I'm making SOME money, I'm in the black. -
i used to work for them last year and they had one in bethel PA
