WHAT?
It doesn't matter if Prime is governed at 62 and it doesn't matter if he needed to slow or change lanes for the vehicle on the onramp. He can't control when somebody comes up an onramp. If you are an ADULT and you are handling yourself professionally, you do not brake check. I presently drive a truck that is governed at 65. When I'm on E-470, the speed limit is 75. That doesn't give someone license to jack with me just because I can't go 75 and I have to let someone on. You have a brake pedal. Adjust your speed. Put the cruise back on when you're around the slow trucks. Does dropping 10 or 15 MPH for a minute honestly take THAT much out of your day?

I don't know I keep re-reading his posting, and not sure what to make of what he is saying as far as I am reading it seems to me he calling the driver at fault that was in slow lane....IDK, maybe I am just reading more into what he is saying, or just having a hard time comprehending what he is meaning....
If he is agreeing with me great, but if he calling the op out on it then there is an issue.
i was born here and so therefore english is my first language maybe i am just having troubles understanding it....anyone else see it the way I read it?Prime flatbed supertruckr Thanks this. -
I've seen drivers do worse. One idiots decided to blow by me in one of the pa turnpike tunnels almost drifting into me and sending me into a wall, and break checking afterwards. The quality of drivers in this industry has gone to hell.

A hard brk check could have turned much worse in seconds.
Prime flatbed supertruckr and Lowa3468 Thank this. -
It was good of the Marten dude to give a nice clear view of the trailer number. With time and location it won't take them much effort to find who the offender was.

I have an idea...
How about the traffic that is merging on yields the right of way like they are suppose to ??
and no you don't have to move over, its a courtesy not a requirement....Just like slow trucks staying out of the way use to be a courtesy..
"You have a brake pedal.Adjust your speed."
If that statement doesn't just scream new breed out loud.. -
What that Marten driver did was unprofessional and not acceptable.
What were you hauling that your load shifted? I have had to jam on my brakes like that before and the frame rails I was hauling did not move an inch. I am not trying to be a jerk but I am serious.
Once again what that driver did was very dumb. He should lose his job.
But could you see how those drivers could be upset? You moved over because you did not want to slow down to let that truck in but the two trucks and probably that van behind you had to slow down. (They unprofessionally passed you on the right and then the second driver did an awful action.) On that part of Interstate 35 there is no trucks in the left lane.
I guess I am the only one that does not understand why Prime needs to get over to not break their 55mph speed and then everyone behind them has to jam on their brakes. Had you flipped your cruise off for 5 seconds all of that could of been avoided. Once again unacceptable what Marten did but there is more then one way to look at that incident.
I am sure I'll get roasted by everyone but once again I did not condone Marten's actions but I have had enough Primes get over in front of me so they didn't have to kick off their cruise when everyone and their brother had to kick off their cruise behind Prime because of how slow Prime goes. Every time you get over especially at night you risk some car being in your blind spot when slowing down would accomplish the same thing and remove two lane changes. Often times slowing down instead of getting over is the safer move.
Let the roast begin lol.Last edited: Apr 5, 2015

trust me, if I am in right lane, and you coming on to merge you can bet your sweet bottom that i am putting you in a ditch i don't care if you a 4 wheeler or big rig.... if you cannot merge properly into flowing traffic you deserve to be put in the ditch. bottom line and the local po po will see it that way too if you end up with needing a new paint job as he be handing you that nice hefty ticket.Tall Mike Thanks this. -
Blue bird was in a hurry to the rail yard. ( those that don't get the joke, Marten LOVES the rail )
