In MA the preferred weapon of choice is usually a sodium chloride/sand mix,but they lean more towards sand-doesn’t eat the metal on bridges like sodium chloride does.

Anyone else notice that it takes weeks of spring rains to wash the salt and chemical residue off the roads? Once the weather warms up, I am still getting it on my windows and mirrors.

not to long ago we had a simple old school CB radio and you would be informed 10 or 20 miles ,at least, prior to arriving at the wreck.
