    In MA the preferred weapon of choice is usually a sodium chloride/sand mix,but they lean more towards sand-doesn’t eat the metal on bridges like sodium chloride does.

    Anyone else notice that it takes weeks of spring rains to wash the salt and chemical residue off the roads? Once the weather warms up, I am still getting it on my windows and mirrors.

    yeah thanks, i can never remember the name of that liquid salt. funny too, that at a couple of the CDL test sites, i used to take the MA students to, (they are usually DOT yards), i can see the big plastic tanks full of that stuff.

    Someone said you have to know when to bail and take it off the road problem is this occured in express lanes you have concrete barriers on either side of you

    not to long ago we had a simple old school CB radio and you would be informed 10 or 20 miles ,at least, prior to arriving at the wreck.

    but, I'm an old timer so what do I know.
