Wow, is that PIE the same PIE as the LTL co from the 70's -80's? If so, i know that co. is long gone. It's just been a long time since i heard the name, worked casual on the dock for them back in the late 70's.

 

You guys crack me up. Particularly as I'm cruising down the 401 in LA, cigar in one hand coffee cup in the other, truck set on cruise control, steering with my knees, and posting on the TTF from my lap top.

 

Heck, yeah, just like me, but skip the cigar, and I'm updating facebook status and checking out photos from my kid's party this weekend.

Just like roach clips, crack pipes and water bongs should not be for sale in tobacco shops.

 

Or a radar detector...fine (in most states) for your car but a big no-no in the rig!

 

If it was given by a DOT officer, most likely, yes.

Was there a reference to any statute beginning with the number 4, specifically 46-point-something (46.----) or 445--XX--something? These are the reference numbers for RCW (Revised Code of Washington) and WAC (Washington Administrative Code) and will guide us to the specific rule you received your ticket for.

This is not the first time I have heard of this. Prime put the word out a couple of years ago that Washington State was writing for b****-handles. And I seem to remember Swift saying the same thing not long after I started driving in 2007.

There was one in a truck I drove for Celtic Carriers, left there by the previous driver. My co-driver thought it was the bomb, so I left it there. But after the third time of nearly breaking my wrist on it backing up, I took it off and mailed it back to its owner.

Don't know about the legal aspect of them......I DO know that if you

bust a power steering hose and the wheel spins back on you it can

break your wrist.
