Neither nose cone or even fairings, not my trailer, though I ran an open flat with it for a bit and that helped (.3 mpg) but not my trailer
W900 that's way too slow.

T600 is far more aerodynamic than a W900 and that's probably where you're seeing most of the difference.

baha Thanks this.

It's possible, but Im quite skeptical of that -
Allegedly the T600 had a 20% increase in fuel economy over the W900 with similar powertrain. 20% of 5 mpg is 1 mpg.

When I had my 379, 3406E, 5EK series, I had a tune with the B/W stage 1. I got 7 mpg all day long on the average, sometimes more(7.3, 7.5)sometimes just a little less(6.5, 6.8). I had all the power I needed and some. It sat behind a RTO 16913 with 3:36 on tall rubber(11.24.5)

Sounds good
God prefers Diesels and Flint1 Thank this. -
Your pete sounds pretty dead on like what's in my t600 (which I like) I generally settle into 68 mph at roughly 1300 but it's longer wheelbase offsets the mpg savings it otherwise has on tall loads (my t600 tries never to pull a box)
Main difference I see is I have short rubber 24.5s
