Wal-Mart running radio spots

I think a lot of the older guys that have been there 20 years or so are retiring and that’s opened up a lot of spots!

 

I've heard Wal-Mart adds on radio saying $19.80 an hour for drivers start pay.

 

Drivers are not paid by the hour. Well not u less on downtime, or in a meeting.

We get mileage plus activity for every stop and layover.

 

What was I hearing than? Perhaps day cab drivers? Home nightly maybe?

 

Might have been an outside carrier for an HVDC or something. I think HUB in Monroe Ga is paying about that.

The only daycab folks we have make way more than that paid mileage and activity.

Where?

Conley(Atlanta), Charlotte, and Memphis locals are all paid just like us.

 

Not a local driver here. If anything, he would get his adp per day.

 

There are at desoto tx...I've talked to several of them. As matter of fact they have to punch out on time clock promptly at end of shift..
