Well I hauled crude out in the Midland/Odessa area till the bottom fell out. I was able to stay with the same company and transfer to Houston and I am currently hauling CO2. I had a nice gig going till the other guy (there's only two of us down here) got banned from our major customer. So now I have to do all of the loads into this customer and be on call every Saturday while the other guy takes all of the smaller short loads and has his weekends off and occasionally a three day weekend. The company (i.e. dispatcher) doesn't have a problem with the current inequality in this scenario. I mean after all his loads are being covered so what's the big deal, right?

So much for the back story...

I would like to get back to the DFW area and be closer to my parents. They're getting up there in age and my dad is currently in re-hab from major surgery. I was wondering if anybody here is in the Dallas area and might know of a place to try looking. Thanks

Looking for just about anything tanker related that's local (or at least day cab..haha)

Actually I think Poly would be a good fit for me ...if...I wanted to go back over the road. I mean if...well when the truck breaks down at GP I could just go home until it's fixed...haha

Savage Companies may have something. They haul locomotive fuel.

Poly does have daycabs out of GP. Not sure if it's mileage or hourly, but they do have local drivers.
