Makes me wonder for sure then.
I haven't really heard that much about that them. Good luck to you over there.
Stay safe.

I wouldn't worry about the no shows. Focus on what you need to learn to be successful. Keep an open mind and form your own opinion about the company.
KD5AXG Thanks this. -
Do you drive for West Side? -
What's your fear ? Let's have a conversation

It just makes me wonder if something isn't wrong here???? -
Drove by their terminal in Indy a few times. Nice equipment.
My buddy almost went to work for them. They don't see like a bad outfit, what are the requirements for the guarantee?
Likely to be no service failures, no turned down loads, available for full 70.
Anything more than that and I'd start to worry they were making it too hard to reach. -
Do people whisper in the hallways ?speedyk Thanks this.

Their requirements for the weekly guarantee are about what you listed, very reasonable. However there looks to be some gray area. That is not what gives me the willies a little bit. I just wonder why I'm the only one that showed....
Another thing is that they want tax documents for 2 of the years that I was self employed. But, they want the document faxed directly from the IRS. I spent 3.5 hours on the phone with the IRS on hold and navigating the options mazes but did not get any where. I give up on that. I spoke with the recruiter last week and asked him if we have all the verifications, etc. done so I did not hit a snafu at the orientation. He said we were good to go??? I emailed some of the business documents to the recruiter after orientation today. If they are not going to accept that, I may be going home. It was good enough for Swift. If they want me to go all the way back home to get more paperwork, I won't be coming back.

I personally don't know any info about west side, but there is another driver who lives in my small farm town that works for them. I see his/her truck parked at one of the blueberry packing houses here and there. Been seeing it there for the past few years... I'm no scientist, but I don't think someone would stay at a bad company for a few years. Just my 2¢. Hope it works out for you!

I gotta say that all of their drivers I spoke to gave them a positive review.
