Ok, so it looks like the trucks on our account have gotten them.

So far, I like the Inspec tabs with the no dvir AND the immediate inspection after dropping Loaded/mt task is completed. Thatt has a noce flow to it.

Would prefer it if the old way of edit eta ,at least prior to acceptance, was in place still THEN after you've accepted and/or activated an assignment switch over to the new way. I think what the planners need to do is have the AT appts set for the appt times regardless of ready time , which everything on an assignment is based off now. Editing mid-assignment with the new way seems right.

Thats all I have so far on the one run I used the update for.

Cant recall if the video on crossroads explained this or not, but what are we supposed to write on the bills for scanning now? Just driver number, trk number, trailer number and load number?

Moosc, DO NOT ANSWER , thank you.

My expenses part is broken. There is no tab to choose the type of expense and it won't accept it without one. Just a minor glitch and one easily remedied. Haven't really played around with it much yet

Expenses (and few other things) will all be fixed by Monday. They need to wait for the Sat night code update to implement somethings, but the interface units have to go first, so we have a few days of aggravation but that should be it.

As for the BOLs - Dr#,.trk#, trl#, load#, in & out times, and stickers as appropriate.

    yep

but since "yep" is too short of a reply I will now explain to everyone the meaning of "Red", and how my definition of "red" is 100% correct, and any variation is 100% wrong.

Red is not a color, but a state of being. We understand this state of being because we are born with innate understanding of the form of all things. This understanding is buried deep within us and only through interaction with the world came we come to a rough conscious understanding of the form of an object. We can never truely know "red", but through long, arduous conversation we can begin to approach true knowledge.

A cookie for anyone who knows who I just paraphrased.

I like it overall. There is a warning if it believes you are picking up one trailer and you are there actually picking up another. Made me do a triple-take on my bills and workflow to make sure everything matched. Probably not a bad thing. I still wish you could set ETAs regardless of your NAT, especially when changes to your load make the computer system recalculate everything and mess it up. Having to set the NAT, wait 5 mins for the update, THEN update the ETA is kind of a pain in the butt still.

One thing I REALLY wish is that when you go to input the barcode number on the trip sheet, it would display the load number in that same box. I have a habit of having the trip sheet in my hand when I enter the barcode, then have to exit the workflow, back to the main page to get the load number, then resume workflow. I know, a million ways to not have this be an issue, but it would just be a nice little thing for the way I run through my workflow.

Also, you can't skip tasks now. I'm waiting on an MT exception, so the pickup empty trailer task isn't checkmarked or removed. I tried to go ahead and enter my trip sheet barcode, but it won't let me do that, complete work, etc.

Something tells me with the begin work and end work tasks gone now there are going to be issues getting correct detention pay. Just a hunch that the new way will result in drivers having to complain about detention pay. we shall see what happens
