All depends on the driver. Last year, I poked along and didn't work hard at all. This year, with rates up and running harder, I'm more than double where I was at this time last year. And I've had 5 weeks off this year for reasons I won't mention.

I think i read the open deck fleet average for the month of march was 2.28 a mile, i don't remember if it was all miles or only loaded miles. Sorry i never pay attention to average numbers. Any monkey can be average. I know I'm averaging over 1000 a day for every day im away from the house, no matter if i worked that day or not. That's my minimum goal right now. Key word minimum.

Well last 2 weeks i made $0 As i been home.. My Next 4 weeks ill be at $2.17 a mile.. Some drivers are only doing $1.50 just depends on that person...

in may fleet avg was 2.32 conestoga, 2.31 for step, and 2.38 for flat. all miles load and empty was 2.07 conestoga, 2.09 for step , and 2.16 for flat.
march was 2.17 con, 2.09 step, 2.21 flat on loaded. on all miles it was 1.94, 1.90 and 2.00 in same order.
