    they told me to run across the wind. like if the wind is blowing south, run east or west. if you run with the wind, aint that a song? lol youll just be running along with the gas. poof dead.

    But yes, watch the wind socks.

    It should dissipate, but either way works, been awhile since I have been in the patch, not something I think of much anymore. And I have never had my monitor go off, thank God. ;-)

    It's an H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide Gas) monitor to protect you. Run upwind and uphill if it starts beeping. It can kill quickly.

    Simple answer. You go upwind. That way the gas is being blown in the opposite direction. I should know because I slept in a Holiday Inn last night.
