    The winter ones are for sure. The summer not as much. They are comfortable right out of the box and have always lasted for me.

    I have that same boot. The Justine brand is good and I like the flat tips.

    Also the pullons are very good in bad weather/snow/mud.

    Chippewa 9" insulated steel toe.. these I think the best. $300+ but worth it. I'm in them all day. Very comfortable. Kinda Kool looking also

    i have a pair of the thorogood black sole boots you posted. most comfortable pair of boots i've ever owned. i wore redwings for years. i've had a lot of work boots ranging from danner & matterhorn to cat & wolverine. about 15 years ago i vowed to never buy a cheap pair of boots again. hands down the best thing i've done for my feet.

    Every time I’ve went cheap on boots I’ve regretted it. Either they hurt or they would only last a few months.

    As they say fellas: "buy nice or cry twice"

    I think shoes, mattress and pillows are things we shouldn't skimp on when it comes to quality.
