Carolina Cargo will hire you and they run teams from SC to the west Coast. You went through 3 trainers and you maintain that you don't have a problem. You might need to learn to be more humble. Pride goeth before a fall.
What bottom feeder companies will hire with abandonment on dac?

The place that I work at right now has Penske drivers trickling in throughout the night. I watch them back and they always make it look so easy.

What are ya gonna do when u get talked to like a child at shippers and recievers, d.o.t idiots. Talk to u like a criminal before u even did anything wrong, what u gonna do? Just about everybody will talk down to u when they see ur a truck driver. I will not tolerate that and many of us wont , but we also have experience to cover our ##### if we decide to make the decision that "yep this guys gettin it today".. You have 3 weeks , u got to suck it up because this industry is full of that #### and really as long as u bring a good attitude to the customers u will most likely get it in return. Just remeber they dealt with 35 irritated truck drivers before u , so if ur the one guy thats nice and upbeat, they will at minimum be nice to you, you might even find urself getting loaded/unloaded quicker.. Plus u never know who ur talking to . u could be talking to some guy thinking hes another driver or just another employee at the plant but little known he might be a big wig ceo or very high up , and them are the guys that go out of their way to put in good words for u when they see ur the only respectful and upbeat driver out of the 50 sitting in the lot..ive pulled up to job sites knowing its gonna be awhile to get unloaded and just showed them respect and tell him ,"boss ill have these straps off in 5 minutes and ill be out of ur way" Been unloaded before some other guys cuz they was #####ing and moaning.. Anyways I dont blame u for leaving ur trainer , i know its tough but theres a better way to handle that. U got to make sure u look out for urself cuz if u dont then this is what happens. Good luck in whatever u decide

Because this is an old thread I'm not going to quote the OP. According to the current transportation industry definition of truck/load abandoment, a trainee can't abandon a truck/load. Abandonment is when the responsible driver walks away and leaves the truck in an insecure place. If as a trainee ANYBODY walks away from a bad trainer and gets dinged for this you need to take the time to fully explain what happened to a new prospective employer. There is one thing to keep in mind though. You develop a history of quitting like this and you will find less and less carriers willing to train you.
Lostmykey and faux_maestro Thank this.
