Kinedyne for me as well. Those heavy abuse ones are an absolute pain to roll and throw over a load... I just stick with the regular ones

For Regular 2" and 4" flat hooks I've been most happy with Kinedyne. Yellow 2" and Grey 4". Have some other brands for Lassos.

    Interesting
I’ve used cargo control for the past several years with no issue but if you think there’s a chance that they are inferior I might have to try another brand

I just ordered that exact same thing this morning.

I do already have a bundle of them though, They don’t hold up to the Ancra heavy duty chain straps I have. They are still so stiff if you move them the rubber band just pops off and they unravel. So I zip tie them. Those particular Ancra are stiff, ever after using them. But they don’t get used near as much as a regular 4”

Keep that bracket. You’ll never need one as long as that’s in there.

I buy them by the case wherever they're the cheapest at the time. I keep them stocked just like grease, oil and all filters.

I was hooked on Kinedyne when I ran skateboard. We left the straps on the winches year round and they took the abuse

I just use big rubber bands for mine. I roll them and use the rubber band to hold the strap and then hook the hook onto the underside of the rubber band with the open end sticking over the band. Holds them just fine. YMMV Kinedyne for me as well.

Edit: Should have read further ahead. What GPD says about the bands. :)

I use silicone and or rubber bands also.

They don’t hold the chain end super straps very well, they uncoil if you give them even a little bit of side eye. But I just ordered more bands and I’ll double them up for those.

I’ve also decided to use those for about 10 loads straight to see if I can knock the stiffness out of them. They are stiffer than a pair of starched wranglers
