I started with an Ancra and Kinedyne, prefer the Kinedyne, Ancra just too soft and fluffy.

DC got the stiff KD (Orange?), and swears by them, but I think he’s just married to how much he paid for them.

Chain ends - zip ties probably the best, or put them at the bottom.

That’s already been done lolol. I even have some that are 3 feet that I’ll use with chain end as long as I can get a good bite on a winch

I've got Kinedynes and where the strap wraps onto the hook, there is a thin, round metal gasket of sorts glued to the strap. The purpose to make a rounder surface when the strap is pulled against the hook. Is this gasket on other strap makers?
Well a year or so into use all of these gaskets started falling off. I'd just find them on the ground after unstrapping. Makes me wonder if that could be a weak point in the strap where it might cut on the hook.

    cke and CAXPT Thank this.

I have Mytee on my trailer. I have left them on the winch for 4 years as I use them daily. No complaints out of me.
