Well I met up with my trainer and he said it’s cool to have this stuff. It’s not too much, and if I ever need to dump the bedding I can easily drop the big bag. I ended up bringing it all!
I got out of the Air Force during Covid. I was stationed at Travis.

You need more than 2 pairs of pants, you need shorts as well. You should pack clothes for every day for a week. You do your laundry on your 34. We all want to take a shower everyday, but that doesn't always work out.

Take your backpack and maybe 1 other bag, leave all the crap out, you will not need a computer, workout crap. Take clothes toiletries and thats it. Save moving in for your own tractor. I'd be tossing your crap out as you were handing it to me. Only take what is needed to get by. In other words phone yes, computer no.

Then you are healthy enough to drag all your stuff 4 miles without breaking a sweat when you get thrown off the truck

2 to 3 weeks is my guess. He won't or shouldn't have you drive 7 or 9 hours a day to start. But I don't know. Driving is important, backing is the hardest part, but least dangerous to other people. Securement is important. There are flatbedding threads on this site.

    Anyway good luck.

I say this all the time......only bring what you can carry with one trip. You may be transfering from truck to truck, but not necessarily. Sometimes you go from truck to motel , then back to terminal, then onto another truck. or truck to greyhound bus to get home because it's not working out. Travel light, my advice

Since all your stuff will be with you on that small top bunk, ask yourself... what do I really need.
