I have a small knife that has a keyring on it. So it's visible. Use it everyday cutting zip ties or popping lights out to put a new one in

So do you stick the whole roll in your pocket, or carry it on your belt loop like a big fat key ring? Seems like a really large item to be carrying on ones person.
-
Switch blade, nunchuks, brass knuckles, couple of throwing stars, 3 or four pocket rockets, old bicycle chain - oh wait, you mean while OTJ trucking, not walking the streets of LA. . .

One thing I'd like to mention here for all you new or relatively new drivers. Carry your wallet in a FRONT pocket, rather than a hip pocket. Two reasons. Primary one, is that sitting on a wallet year after year WILL cause problems with the sciatic nerve! The other reason is that it is a bit tougher for a dip to pick your wallet out of a front pocket without your knowledge, than it is out of the hip pocket."semi" retired and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
Hi new chavo, Ha, I used to do that too. If I had my pants on, I had the truck key.
If you HAD your pants on driver? Please inform us when you don't have your pants on. That way, we can all duck and cover.!

This is what I carry on my belt, pockets, or on my person. L-R top- wallet (w/US Army insignia), keys w/heavy-duty spring clip, company-issued safety shades, S&W Bodyguard .380 and Blackhawk IWB holster. L-R bottom- flashlight holster w/Streamlight PolytacLED light, Leatherman "Blast" w/holster, E-cig w/neck holster, cell phone case (using phone- Samsung Galaxy SIII- for pic), Citizen wristwatch, and Colt neck knife, all surrounded by a Blackhawk 2" Riggers belt.
THEN, on the passenger seat next to me (I drive a company daycab) I have my BOB (BailOut Bag) like this (I have a newer black one now)-

Inside is everything from my Glock 27 .40 cal, (and 2 spare mags), to a first aid kit enabling me to treat anything from a papercut to a sucking chest GSW, a firestarting kit, about 30' of paracord, approx. 10' of Gorilla tape, emergency blanket, emergency poncho, a set of master keys to every manufacturer of heavy equipment, pens in black, blue and red (for different states OS/OW permit-signing requirements), and a bunch of other stuff I forget and/or am too lazy to list....LOL
I am a former Eagle Scout and like to be prepared- it's better to have and not need, than to need and not have. Some have even called me paranoid, but it's not paranoia if they're really out to get you......LOL
Studebaker Hawk Thanks this. -
It is not paranoia if the zombies comes after us. -
Once the zombies come he'll be the only one laughing
Mudguppy Thanks this. -
Well considering many of this planet have no brains, and the zombies will find it boring to eat those brains, he won't laugh for too long, unless he can out run them! For me, get it done and over with!
