What do you do when your truck breaks down on the freeway?

    You never know when it is going to happen so what do you do when your tractor trailer breaks down on the highway or busy freeway? Do you already have a service you always call? Do you search the internet - if so what are the search terms you use?

    Depends if you are working for a company that has a support network to help you. Are you a company driver? Just send a message on the electric logging device that you need help.

    I was on my own last year truck broke down on an offramp blocking traffic. I called 9-1-1 for CHP assistance, he got ahold of a wrecker service who towed me. Another time years prior a moment I am not proud of, I got stuck in a ditch blocking travel lanes, called 9-1-1 and the cops came out and again got ahold of a wrecker for me.

    But most of the time especially up on the big road, help isn't too far away.
