I'll be 46 in a few weeks.. All the heavy lifting keeps you in shape. Just have to figure out how to work smart and not hurt yourself.

Our Briskette smoker caught on fire today however for a while I let it go I thought I was getting good smoke and that = flavor. Meat off of it was tough, but had a heck of a flavor.

At any rate though the fire went out and everything was fine, we cleaned it up and it's ready for its next use.

You should have seen the lingering cloud of smoke in the driveway. My mom got scared when I went into the garage and got my fire extinguisher. I have a 10lbs Amerex ABC dry chemical extinguisher and a 25 Ansul Sentry ABC extinguisher as back up.

Absolutely. I'm in the best shape of my life at 46.

It seems as if it's the guys in their late 20s and early 30s, the WFO-all-the-time guys, are the ones that are injured most often.
I work at one pace. If something happens and I'm a couple hours behind, I don't really care. They'll send help or I'll take it back to the yard.

It's a pretty rare occasion that I'll step it up, and it's always for personal reasons, something I must be home for.

Holds temperature for hours and hours. No electronics, nothing to fail. My only complaint is the cooking surface is a little small, but I could buy two for the price of a pellet grill.

Think we need a barbecue thread.

Driver were you trying to send Indian smoke signals up for someone to respond?
