I listen to my motor and cb in the background while talking to the wife as both can give early warning to potential problems before they become a problem. People cranking their music are often obvious as they are less in tune with their surroundings and what's going on around them.

I stream Slacker radio (internet radio via smartphone). When I have a cell signal. Otherwise, the whining of my turbo and the wind rustling thru the gaps in my door seal.

There is a new station called Tom Petty radio. Pretty good music content with Tom himself taking his turn at dj duties. He also plays other artists music and leans towards the blues and folksy side when he jams these days. I like hearing the decades of his tunes and many of them unplugged versions. Worthwhile addition IMO

How do I make the music from my tablet to come thru the truck speakers? Is there a cable(s) I can buy and connect the tablet to the truck radio?

One of Bluetooth adapters; even the WalMart checkout lanes have them as impulse items.

    Google BT218.

Comes with 6” long USB cable. If your truck has that horrible generic radio in all Hogan/Penske/Ryder trucks, that’s the ticket.

Put the double-ended mini plug on the adapter.
Put the USB cable on the adapter.
Plug both the mini-plug and cable into the radio.
Radio should automatically switch to “FRONT AUX”, or “F AUX”

Get the tiny blue light flashing.
    Pair BT218 with tablet.

Device will do the same “bob boo boo beep” tones as headset, to indicate ON, OFF, connection.

Works great for streaming your fav radio station.

Satellite radio doesn’t have a chance.
