    Going all the way back to my discharge from the Air Force I saved my money. I was able to sell almost 40 days of leave (at E 5 pay) and took that money to the bank. For the better part of 35 years afterward when I opened my wallet you could hear a "sucking" sound when I pulled out a bill. Today I am fully retired and living on my investments. I am also NOT taking a dime of Social Security. So I spend my money to exist, but the remainder went into my investments!
