I'm starting to put a list together of stuff I might use when I go solo. What do you guys use to set the keyboard and mouse on, or the laptop?
What do you use for a laptop stand or desk for keyboard and mouse?

Since I am lounging in my bunk when using my laptop it goes one of two ways.
It is in my lap, like right now as I am typing, or it is on the pull out shelf when I am watching a video.
The mouse just sits next to me on a mouse pad, and there is no separate keyboard.TawcoTruck and tscottme Thank this. -

I’m not into gaming so the way I use a computer may be very different. I have switched to using a tablet. I thought I might not like it as I know how to properly type; but, I haven’t found this to be much of a problem. I bought a Bluetooth keyboard for it. However, that was a waste of money. With practice at using predictive text I don’t need the keyboard. And, if the games are available on Apple iPad OS, their new tablets have desktop power processors. But, I don’t know if you can interface controllers with them. Tablets weigh less and are more portable than laptops.

Wait until you get in your solo truck before you buy stuff or you will over stuff the truck and waste money.TawcoTruck Thanks this.
