Under 140/90. You have a right to insist they give you 5 minutes of inactivity before taking the reading. That is the official procedure for taking a BP reading but they always want to take your BP while they talk to you the instant you enter the exam room.

There are some breathing exercises you can use to temporarily lower your BP. Look on YouTube.

I thought it was 140/80. Either way I barely passed last time and am now on BP meds.

    I haven’t had any side effects. It’s a low dose 10mg of lisinopril. I think that’s how it’s spelled

Plus, if they're cool, they'll put you in a room, tell you to relax and they'll be back in 10 minutes.......then quietly shut off the lights on their way out.

If you need a discount on a script, good rx app.

Thanks. My wife works for the city. We went on state insurance a year or so back. It cost like 12 bucks for a 3 month supply.

I’ve heard a lot of good about the good rx app though. The price of some of this medication is outrageous.

Most BP medicine is generic, thus cheap.

Under 140/90 is the correct answer. If either of the numbers are over the limit, it’s NO CARD FOR YOU! And, if you take meds for BP, it’s a one year card, provided you’re under 140/90, of course.
