The owner of the company I drive for wants me to use progressive shifting. He says today's modern motors are designed to be lugged. He says let the motor lug to 1000 or 2000 RPM before down shifting. I'm not going to argue with him but what do you guys think?

Which means nothing anymore since I love Autos!~
