What happened to the old timers and renegades?

They were in yesterday years too.

I just remember this incident.
Back in the late 80's, a Arkansas school teacher told me that their superintendent would not let a truck company owner come to their school during a time they had several different people come to their school talking about their job. He said this truck company owner was going to talk to their students about every job they had to offer, including truck drivers. This teacher said this superintendent said I will not allow no one to talk to our students about being a truck driver for that's the worst job out there.
