Help wanted signs in every single state I've been through. Anyone able bodied without a job is doing by choice.

The people getting the short end of the stick are the fixed income retired folks. After paying into 401k's, Ira's, social security etc for a lifetime they're now watching the dollar be devalued coupled with crippling inflation.
The record high stock market is what has been keeping people I know from losing a massive chunk of retirement funds. I'm afraid that the house of cards may fall.

I assume that the old guy relied on rental income as a portion of his retirement. He must've been unwilling to cope with losing his retirement while simultaneously having to look at the responsible parties on a daily basis.

Imagine being in a house with people who won't pay rent while also being surrounded by help wanted signs...

 

He should have gotten rid of the bodies. It's easy to do.

I prefer water. I know how to keep them from moving once on the bottom where there are no tides. Sleeping bag and 4 unopened bags of Quikrete Concrete Mix. Silt will quickly camoflage the sleeping bag. Find a deep spot with a 'fish finder' and roll the sleeping bag over the side.
