A man cannot have too many zip ties or to much duct tape. Surplus of Gorilla glue halps.

I think Dave once commented on 10th in this Blackie is different from Caspers. His toddling 65 used a few less RPM's. Gear sort of gave him an edge, like 9th turned around in a 9 speed. This is probably why the wind cuts him noticeably. It is tough to be caught in wind across NB in a 5 speed overdrive. Wind up, shift.. Till the UP long train come alongside and give you a barrier, then 30 minutes later, he has outrun you. Wind up, shift..

Hey if it gets you moving till you can get parts its good. Another poster had his seat lose air so he had to stop because it wouldnt hold air. Missed the delivery appt because of it. I asked why the didnt just stick a piece of wood in it and deliver the load then fix it but they didnt respond. I guess that was out of line. Maybe i should delete it.

That’s about what I took my Road Test in. Except it was a bit newer, 1992 Condo.

Good old Dodge. Cool Truck. My Dad drove Local for Chrysler, 71-82. They had all Dodge Trucks. Only Manufacturer still running their own fleet. Last I heard, they had about 600 Drivers, same as back then. They had it made. Best Trucking Job in Town. Next coveted Job is Forklift Driver. All the perks, without working the Line. GM sold their Fleet to Penske, in the 80’s. That WAS a great Job too. Same with Ford, sub contracted everything out. Lost some good paying jobs, replaced by about half the pay. Ford may have a handful of Trucks/Drivers left, I doubt it. Maybe a few spotters. Surprised Chrysler, or FCA still has a Fleet. Gotta be at or close to $40 an hr. now, maybe more. They like to hire old OOs, mainly because they know they probably won’t end up with much of a pension, if any. Others won’t leave. One Guy was 72 yrs. old. Told Me he would never voluntarily leave. Lol. They used to call it “The Retirement Home”.

    We are woke.

It's a scorching 30 here. Which is scorching compared to 12.

Don't think the wind has started yet, but will probably pick up considerably once we release the brakes.
