What if it Snows?

Here! I don't remember it under that name. I had to go googling to find it. I brought a lot of stuff here for cold storage, stuff I think that went overseas.

One more point! Keri will be driving, she knows that area VERY well, I will just sit back and sleep most likely!

I’ll tell what slowed me down, years ago, I was at the J in Dallas, (had to fuel at Js, or 50 gallon max at Petro/TA)
Anyway, I had redone my loose leaf and had backed up as far as possible, so, I was going to send them all in, every copy, and showed a “Fly In” my boss had a plane, so I was going to say I just picked up this abandoned company truck and start with a fresh book, minus the time I’d have to throw away, a couple hours the day before, so I was going to show pretrip and fuel and be good to run.

In the process throwing away the real logs, sending the redone ones in trippak, a guy in mid 50s was being pushed in a wheelchair out of the store by an equally aged lady.
He had her roll him by me, and he told me he was a truck driver who used to do the same thing I was doing, run hard for the money, but his body rejected him and he had a stroke and was paralyzed on his left side.
Left arm was useless and had to keep that latex gloves on his left hand to keep his fingers from drawing up into a claw.

I sometimes think about that guy, never knew or even asked his name, don’t know if he’s still alive, but I slowed down because of him.
Now, now matter what I stop at midnight and start again at 5-6.

That is of course if I’ve been off or somehow got stuck on night shift.

 

I know. It's getting to the point now that at least once a week I am hearing about either a friend or somebody I knew who either has died or was forced to retire.

 

It won't be until after I recover from May 12th. Keri's Army guy told me last night he still has close to 40 days of leave on the books and can leave for up to a week and not cause any serious problems. I know he is taking Keri and me to Richmond that morning, but knowing Keri she is planning to take him. In all honesty, because I don't want to be the 3rd wheel I may just stay at home.
