Such a shame this will sit in a Ziploc baggie in the fridge until next week end.

Dont know I would go that far... Patience is more like it... I've probably got 3 or4 hours in this belt already, most of that is pencil time... And I haven't even started tooling it yet.

Had a laugh at the expense of a wannabee hard biker costumed individual at the Homies Desperate (aka Home Depot). You know the type "$20k and 20 miles (and a new wardrobe) do not make a biker" we used to say.....

He makes a rude toned comment about was I going to be able to push the cart of blocks across the parking lot. Pointed out it was nothing I was not used to, was less than a full IBC tote. Or a better reference for him about 4 times his body weight, and yes I shove that much weight out of the way regular like.

Did he rev it up 67 times to make sure it was still running? I always thought Harleys were POS cause they always needed throttle to stay running. Then l learned of the douchbag lifestyle that usually comes with it. Not impressed. Neither is anyone else.

Pretty sure if he actually has one the frame is tweaked from being overloaded.

A Harley set up by a good mechanic has no problem idling without human interference. Unfortunately good or better Harley mechanics are few and far between. And even a good mechanic can only do so much based on the customers poor choices of after market parts to install.

We got a local independent guy with a garage here. He's an older fella, 60’s I’d guess.. I’m no fan of Harleys and most of the owners, but I would love to talk to him and tour his garage. He seems like one of those good mechanics that is priceless. I hate to see those guys go.

I don’t have a lot of knowledge at anything and never will. It’s just the way I am wired. But man do I appreciate 1000% the guys that do. Especially mechanics. Men like that are an endangered species.
