    Shades of lots of old US11 thru VA. 3 lanes, 1 going, 1 coming, center for passing. Gather your guts, peek out, open, go for it. Oops, traffic appears. No problem, by a common sense agreement we traded off to complete... BUT, on the hills. Going up, 2, truck lane and thru lane.. 1 coming down. Other side, same way. Right at the top, where center was no mans land, it could get hairy

    Two lane roads, bridges only pavement width, yellow line paint guesstimated, no/few guard rails (saleable timber within 12 feet would stop you OK), only the U turn curves arrow pointed, and they wonder how we lived that long. Probably why I had a nice touch of gray hair at 23.

    Think the Toll Road (130?) going south toward Austin is 85. Saw a replica of a speed limit sign some wag had altered.
    Read: Speed Limit - 85 - Chevys - Just Do All You Can. Probably a Ford man?
