What if it Snows?

I drove 30 miles to shipper. It’s 52 miles to consignee. 48 miles to next shipper. Then 10 miles back home to sleep till night time. Almost embarrassed to even call myself a trucker. Those aren't even part time miles.

 

Some SOB just showed up and he is sporting an EFFING BACK UP ALARM. That noise is one of the worst on earth.

 

Yep its a carrier.. Thing starts up and goes full bore for like 10 minutes then off again.

 

I woke up out of a dead sleep last night because some guy had his back up alarm very similar to what fire alarm sounds like. I had the sleeper windows open and thought the truckstop was on fire

 

We had a customer in the oilfield that was stupid safety happy and wanted all vehicles on their location to have beepers. So my pickup got one. I got in trouble for cutting the wires. So after it was repaired I covered it with electrical tape. Could very faintly hear the darn thing. I was very pleased.

 

This my friends is true skill...
