    So..
Arrived at 0740, They pulled a guy ahead of me to load, i just sat back and listened to the radio.
Then i pulled under spout to load 45 minutes later.
Dude said he was taking a break.

Then it came a thunderboomer, complete with tain.
    - 1 hour.
Still loading, then the lady inside the shipping office has the audacity to call and axe me if I can be in Frontenac Kansas to unload for my 1600 appointment 360 miles.

And there’s not a thing mentioned in the local news papers around here— how I know we’re pretty well F’d with a capital F

I just got off the telephone with Keri and it looks like she will be medically retired. The company doctor spoke to the surgeon that repaired her ankle and both feel the ankle will never be 100% and the stress of that job "precludes" the job. Thankfully Keri is vested so she should do OK. She can also still fly space available for free. This retirement is up to the company and the doctor is advising them to retire her. Keri will be home sometime in the AM. That's good because I am almost out of soup!

Guessing she will get a union pension early? Probably won't be huge, but will be something.

well sitting in the shop waiting to get some new trailer tires and a PM done... notice my tires were starting to bubble on the outside. not sure they wouldve made it 1 more load... went with the "cheapest" tires they had here. bridgestone r123...ran those before on the spread axle but they didnt hold up well. now maybe since i have a tandem they wont take so much abuse... hopefully they last. they quoted me 4500 all in price, labor, fet, tax.. pretty rough if u ask me..
