I’m the last person you want to talk to about making sense about laying down hard earned money for golf trinkets

I was out that way thus afternoon... Took a transfere load to our facility in Arco. First load on a virgin pump.

Finally found the time to get my new pump installed. It's bigger amd better. The old one was only a 6hp predator motor (Honda knockoff) with a 3 inch trash pump. The new one is what most the other trailers have... A 13hp Honda with a 3 inch cast iron self-priming pump. It is the cats meow... I only ranbit at half throttle because its a new engine and pump, and even at that speed it was faster than my old pump.

Oh yeah... And the new pump has an electric start!!!

So..When i walked up to the house earlier, one of the braces was leaning that holds up the carport.

I go in and ask who hit it..
Nobody knows wth i’m talking about.
We all go outside and i touch it with one finger and push it out from under the roof.

No one knows, but i went through my toolbox in my pickup and got my trusty drill out and replaced the brace put a screw through the top of braces be halfway into the top and the friggen battery died on the drill.
Everyone thought that was funny til i walked into the house and swapped batteries and finished.

Still don’t know who knocked the brace down, but it’s fixed, again.

As for a one liner ‘dad’ joke all i can think of right now is...

Two fish are in a tank. One says to the other, ‘How do you drive this thing?’

Just be glad it was at the house and not down on Main Street with a 24’ stock trailer with horses and 2 HS girls that made a turn to sharp and ran over the front end of a Prius but didn’t think it was any big deal so they didn’t bother to let the owner know till the insurance agent called — not that I would know about such things

Did you know...a recent study has found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it?

    Hmm, who knew..

Someone on the thread next door called for the rubber chicken.

    The RC is loose.

As for the golf clubs, they are just like a truck, it all depends on the operator. I know my new clubs have given me more distance, I just need to keep working to develop a consistent design. Played to day, tough course, two pars, two blow up holes, shot 111. Not much better than old clubs. Of course my handicap is 30+.
