Had those. Nope. You need to try one of the It’s it flavors. You will not be disappointed and will become a convert.

A man is talking to the family doctor, "Doc, I think my wife’s going deaf." The doctor answers, "Well, here’s something you can try on her to test her hearing. Stand some distance away from her and ask her a question. If she doesn’t answer, move a little closer and ask again. Keep repeating this until she answers. Then you’ll be able to tell just how hard of hearing she really is." The man goes home and tries it out. He walks in the door and says, "Honey, what’s for dinner?" He doesn’t hear an answer, so he moves closer to her. "Honey, what’s for dinner?" Still no answer. He repeats this several times, until he’s standing just a few feet away from her. Finally, she answers, "For the eleventh time, I said we’re having MEATLOAF!"

And with that I’m unloaded and calling it a day, a long Kansas day, even tained and got humid.

I'm sitting down after finishing a great breakfast and thinking about last Monday. It's not very pleasant flat on your back with 4 liters of oxygen keeping you alive. One thing that Covid does is a direct attack on the human lungs. I will say this though, my good friends all came through for Keri and me. The Army guy and his Sgt Major carried me out of this apartment with some neighbors holding doors open. Last night this same Army guy was here and was talking to us about a conversation he had on Ft Eustis about his upcoming marriage to Keri. I took notice of some interesting similar things between this guy and me. I am a loner and opening up my life to Keri has been an adjustment for me. However, this guy is going through much the same. He has expressed to me that he is tired of living alone and wants to share his life with Keri.

Sadly in about a month Keri will be moving out and living near Ft Eustis then after the first of the year moving to Clarksville Tenn.

I don't think I have to get too deep into the loner lifestyle a lot of drivers have. I do know that keeping your mind on getting old is a morbid and outright macabre subject, so I will say this. It's nice to be alive and be among GOOD friends.

I was thinking about Monday and thinking about this old song. These last several days I have thought about these lyrics a lot. I don't look at this song as a sad song. I am making POSITIVE changes and soon will be doing things like rocking my grandchildren and telling them stories.

Might want to tell her to keep the volume down a tad if you head into the backcountry— especially if you see a pickup with a big box on the back that has little square doors down each side

Well, woke up, epic sleep for a change, 87 outside at 0710, but it’s like 40 in here, which is what woke me up, even under a sheet and two blankets, I like it cold but evidently not that cold, waiting for windows to thaw so I’ll go get PM done in Joplin since I don’t see anything worthwhile to load, yet..
