That photo reminded me of something, so I did a reverse image search and found a larger photo with the N number. That is a 1959 LOCKHEED P2V-7 that is now currently based in Spain. It started life I think as a Navy Aircraft.

From that photo, I would guesstmate that the lower wing is 25 to 30 feet from the side of that hill. However, as you stated that stuff has to be laid down on the fires.

I think the plane belonged to Aero Union when that picture was taken. They bought several surplus, tanked them, and used them on fires. They sold off the last of their P2V-7s several years ago.

I think you are correct. The angle of the plane's descent and the flaps in the down position if they had a Stick Shaker system to prevent a stall it must have been going crazy in the ####pit.

    THE TRUCK HAS STOPPED!!!!!!

At a strategic Flying J. Don't know how that receiver is, and it's part of a mega indigenous population center.

So we will go early in the morning, long before the Mormons wake up, and approach the receiver using the cover of darkness.

Came inside for a clean hot shower.

    The OM will be pleased.

No. Thank you though. My cousin is done.

I bought a very low mileage Cascadia about two months ago.

Thought I had a driver, but it's one of the weirdest situations I've come across, and that's saying something.

So Landstarve recruiting is posting it officially for guys that get qualified.
